Specificity: The clone DX5 reacts with CD49b, also known as very late antigen-2 (VLA-2) and α2 integrin. The antibody stains the majority of NK cells and a small subpopulation of T cells in all mouse strains tested (e.g., A/J, AKR, BALB/c, C3H/HeJ, C57BL/6, C57BL/10, C57BR, C58, CBA/Ca, CBA/J, DBA/1, DBA/2, SJL, SWR). The clone DX5 has not been demonstrated to have activating or blocking activity.

Specificity: Mouse CD44 (all isoforms). The clone KM201 reacts with an epitope very close to the hyaluronate binding domain on CD44. KM201 can inhibit hyaluronate-dependent cell aggregation, prevent lympho-hemopoiesis in both Dexter and Whitlock-Witte cultures, prevent the earliest intrathymic precursors from homing to the thymus, and costimulate the activation of freshly purified splenic CD4+ T cells.

Specificity: Chicken CD3 epsilon. The clone CT-3 recognizes a complex of at least three polypeptides of Mr 20, 19, and 17 kDa (two of which are N-glycosylated) on chicken T cells. The antibody also coprecipitates a polypeptide of 90 kDa from digitonin solubilized T cell lysates, which can be reduced to two polypeptides of Mr 50 and 40 kDa.
