anti-ADAM12 antibody
anti-ADAM12 antibody for Flow cytometry,ICC/IF,IHC-Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections and Human
Cancer antibody; Cell Biology and Cellular Response antibody; Signaling Transduction antibody
Overview
Product Description | Goat Polyclonal antibody recognizes ADAM12 |
---|---|
Tested Reactivity | Hu |
Tested Application | FACS, ICC/IF, IHC-P |
Specificity | This antibody is expected to recognise both the longer membrane-bound form of human ADAM12 (NP_003465.3) and the shorter soluble ADAM12 splice isoform (NP_067673.2). This antibody does not cross-react with other ADAMS. |

Swiss-port # O43184 Human Disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 12 |
---|---|
Background | This gene encodes a member of the ADAM (a disintegrin and metalloprotease) protein family. Members of this family are membrane-anchored proteins structurally related to snake venom disintegrins, and have been implicated in a variety of biological processes involving cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions, including fertilization, muscle development, and neurogenesis. This gene has two alternatively spliced transcripts: a shorter secreted form and a longer membrane-bound form. The shorter form is found to stimulate myogenesis. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008] |
