anti-CD50 / ICAM3 antibody [MEM-04] (low endotoxin)

anti-CD50 / ICAM3 antibody [MEM-04] (low endotoxin) for Flow cytometry,IHC-Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections,Functional study and Human

Overview

Product Description Azide free and low endotoxin Mouse Monoclonal antibody [MEM-04] recognizes CD50 / ICAM3
Tested Reactivity Hu
Tested Application FACS, FuncSt, IHC-P
Specificity The antibody MEM-04 reacts with an extracellular epitope of CD50 (ICAM-3), a 120-130 kDa type I membrane protein (immunoglobulin supergene family) expressed on leukocytes, endothelial cells and Langerhans cells; it is negative on platelets and erythrocytes. The MEM-04 blocks DC-SIGN (CD209) binding to ICAM-3 (epitope in D1).
Host Mouse
Clonality Monoclonal
Clone MEM-04
Isotype IgG1
Target Name CD50 / ICAM3
Antigen Species Human
Immunogen Leukocytes of a patient suffering from LGL-type leukemia.
Conjugation Un-conjugated
Alternate Names CD50; CD antigen CD50; Intercellular adhesion molecule 3; ICAM-3; ICAM-R; CDw50; CDW50

GeneID: 3385 Human ICAM3

Swiss-port # P32942 Human Intercellular adhesion molecule 3

Gene Symbol ICAM3
Gene Full Name intercellular adhesion molecule 3
Background The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the intercellular adhesion molecule (ICAM) family. All ICAM proteins are type I transmembrane glycoproteins, contain 2-9 immunoglobulin-like C2-type domains, and bind to the leukocyte adhesion LFA-1 protein. This protein is constitutively and abundantly expressed by all leucocytes and may be the most important ligand for LFA-1 in the initiation of the immune response. It functions not only as an adhesion molecule, but also as a potent signalling molecule. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2016]
Function ICAM proteins are ligands for the leukocyte adhesion protein LFA-1 (integrin alpha-L/beta-2) (PubMed:1448173). ICAM3 is also a ligand for integrin alpha-D/beta-2. In association with integrin alpha-L/beta-2, contributes to apoptotic neutrophil phagocytosis by macrophages (PubMed:23775590). [UniProt]
Cellular Localization Membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein. [UniProt]
Calculated MW 60 kDa
PTM Upon stimulation by a physiologic stimuli becomes rapidly and transiently phosphorylated on serine residues.

N-glycosylated; glycans consist of a mixture of tri- and tetra-antennary complex-type chains and high-mannose chains. [UniProt]
