anti-CD90 / Thy 1 (Thy 1.1) antibody [OX-7] (PE)

anti-CD90 / Thy 1 (Thy 1.1) antibody [OX-7] (PE) for Flow cytometry and Guinea pig,Mouse,Rabbit,Rat

Overview

Product Description PE-conjugated Mouse Monoclonal antibody [OX-7] recognizes CD90 / Thy 1 (Thy 1.1)
Tested Reactivity Ms, Rat, Gpig, Rb
Tested Application FACS
Specificity The clone OX-7 recognizes CD90 also known as Thy1. Since Thy1 is a monomorphic determinant in rat but polymorphic in mice, clone OX-7 reacts rat Thy-1 and mice Thy-1.1 in Thy1.1 mice e.g. AKR and FVB, but not mice Thy1.2 in Thy1.2 mice such as CBA and BALB/c. The affinity of the Fab′ of OX-7 for rat Thy1 is 3 x 10^9m^-1 and for mouse Thy1.1 is 3 x 10^8m^-1.
Host Mouse
Clonality Monoclonal
Clone OX-7
Isotype IgG1
Target Name CD90 / Thy 1 (Thy 1.1)

Alternate Names Thy-1 membrane glycoprotein; Thy-1 antigen; CD antigen CD90; CDw90; CD90

Gene Symbol Thy1
Gene Full Name Thy-1 cell surface antigen
Background This gene encodes a cell surface glycoprotein and member of the immunoglobulin superfamily of proteins. The encoded protein is involved in cell adhesion and cell communication in numerous cell types, but particularly in cells of the immune and nervous systems. The encoded protein is widely used as a marker for hematopoietic stem cells. This gene may function as a tumor suppressor in nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2015]
Function May play a role in cell-cell or cell-ligand interactions during synaptogenesis and other events in the brain. [UniProt]
Calculated MW 18 kDa
