Application Note | IHC-P: Rat anti Mouse F4/80 antibody, clone A3-1 requires pre-treatment of paraffin sections prior to staining. Proteinase K is recommended for tissues fixed for less than 24 hours. Citrate buffer pH 6.0 is recommended for tissues fixed for more than 24 hours. Please view the protocol at Antigen Retrieval Techniques. FACS: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cells in 100ul * The dilutions indicate recommended starting dilutions and the optimal dilutions or concentrations should be determined by the scientist. |

Background | EMR1 F4/80 has a domain resembling seven transmembrane G protein-coupled hormone receptors (7TM receptors) at its C-terminus. The N-terminus of the encoded protein has six EGF-like modules, separated from the transmembrane segments by a serine/threonine-rich domain, a feature reminiscent of mucin-like, single-span, integral membrane glycoproteins with adhesive properties.
