anti-HtrA4 antibody

anti-HtrA4 antibody for Western blot,ELISA and Human

Overview

Product Description Mouse Monoclonal antibody recognizes HtrA4
Tested Reactivity Hu
Tested Application ELISA, WB
Specificity The antibody reacts against the recombinant HtrA4 full length prepared under oxidative conditions without DTT (see Figure –Panel A) or under reducing conditions with DTT.
No cross reactivity of the antibody with the recombinant full length human HtrA1 or with the recombinant full length human HtrA3 could be detected. The recombinant HtrA4 appears in SDS-PAGE as a double band, with an apparent MW of ~47 kDa and respectively 12 kDa and in Western-blot with a main band at ~47 kDa.
Host Mouse
Clonality Monoclonal
Isotype IgG2a
Target Name HtrA4
Antigen Species Human
Immunogen Human HtrA4 (full length).
Conjugation Un-conjugated
Alternate Names Serine protease HTRA4; High-temperature requirement factor A4; EC 3.4.21.-

GeneID: 203100 Human HTRA4

Swiss-port # P83105 Human Serine protease HTRA4

Gene Symbol HTRA4
Gene Full Name HtrA serine peptidase 4
Background This gene encodes a member of the HtrA family of proteases. The encoded protein contains a putative signal peptide, an insulin growth factor binding domain, a Kazal protease inhibitor domain, a conserved trypsin domain and a PDZ domain. Based on studies on other related family members, this enzyme may function as a secreted oligomeric chaperone protease to degrade misfolded secretory proteins. Other human HtrA proteins have been implicated in arthritis, tumor suppression, unfolded stress response, apoptosis, and aging. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2008]
Function Serine protease. [UniProt]
Calculated MW 51 kDa
