Overview

Product Description Tyrosine Hydroxylase (TH) is an enzyme responsible for catalyzing the conversion of L-tyrosine to L-DOPA, a precursor for an important neurotransmitter Dopamine. TH activity is regulated by its phosphorylation. The phosphorylation of TH at Ser31 and Ser40 residues was found to enhance dopamine synthesis in primary neurons. Daubner, Le and Wang. 2011.
